Una elección municipal regular para la elección de oficiales municipales se llevará a cabo el día 5 de Marzo del 2019. Lugares de votación estaran abiertos al público entre las horas de las 7:00 a.m. y las 7:00 p.m. B. En la elección municipal regular, individuos serán elegidos para ocupar los siguientes cargos electivos: Distrito 1- un Consejal por un término de dos años, y Distrito 3 - un Consejal por un término de dos años. C. Los siguientes distritos son consolidados para la elección municipal regular: CD01: Consiste de Distritos 1 y 3. D. Los distritos son consolidados, y la siguiente localidad es designada como local para votar para llevar a cabo la elección municipal regular el día 5 de Marzo del 2019: Silver City Woman’s Club, 411 Silver Heights Blvd., Silver City, New Mexico. FOR THE MUNICIPAL OFFICER ELECTION DAY TO BE HELD MARCH 5, 2019
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY that: A. Municipal Officer Election Day shall be held on March 5, 2019. Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. B. On Municipal Officer Election Day, persons shall be elected to fill the following elective offices: District 1 - One Councilor for a two-year term, and District 3 - One Councilor for a two-year term. C. The following districts are consolidated for the regular municipal election: CD01: Consists of Districts 1 and 3. D. Districts are consolidated and the following location is designated as the polling place for the conduct of the regular municipal election on March 5, 2019: Silver City Woman’s Club, 411 Silver Heights Blvd., Silver City, New Mexico E. Duties & Responsibilities:
Deputies are responsible for general law enforcement duties and the service of civil process. Such duties include operation of emergency vehicles, answering of citizen calls for service criminal investigations, traffic accident investigation and enforcement, arrests, prisoner transports, courtroom security, court testimony, report writing, and any other related duties as assigned.
