We're hearing a lot about frequencies these days, so let explore it, as it relates to our health and well-being. For decades, I've had a strong feeling that, in the future, health would be obtained and maintaned though such things as frequencies, energetics, sound, light, and color. Although I didn't really understand how that would be or what it all meant, that inner certainty never left. Instead it's grown stronger as time passed.

I've had many contacts with the medical field in my life: as a nurse, formerly married to a physician, and as life moved on, my children were all involved in different apects of the practices of healing. One is an Aliopathic Doctor. One a Naturopath. One a Nurse-Anesthetist, and one a Nurse who branched out.

I've been associated with a hospital as a Chaplain for over 20 years. In that time I've heard many stories of how medications worked or did not work. The longer I've watched and listened, it became apparent that there was something wrong with the pharmaceutical idea that medicines were for removing symptoms, but not curing the cause of the disorder. (Have you noticed how many medicines have had to be recalled?)

Decades ago, I visited two pharmaceutical companies. In one, I saw guinea pigs being given drugs. When I questioned the representative leading the tour, I was told that they felt no pain in the procedures. As future nurses we were told to encourage doctors to use their drugs. The other company offered members of the medical class a full scholarship if they would sign a contract to only use their medications. One man did.

In later years, information leaked from brave souls more involved than I was. Horror stories about greed, hidden knowledge, agendas, and indifferences to human suffering. I think, we the people, are ready for alternatives to the present method that has pursued us for too long.

So, let's explore what a frequency is. It refers to repeat patterns of movement or oscillations of something (a pendulum or events) as they go back and forth or vibrate. These can be cycles of events, electromagnetic waves, light, color, radio or television waves, x-rays, gamma rays, sound, radar, electricity and others.

Do human bodies have a frequency? Yes. However, different cells in our bodies have their own frequency. When a person is ill, the vibration of sickness changes the frequency of the body. Brian James Rose explains in:  https://www.researchgate.net/publication/354326235_The_Vibrational_Frequencies_of_the_Human_Body

A number of modern machines are able to measure such things as our brain waves, heart rate and rhythm, and body heat, to mention a few. Here's a list of equipment that measures different aspects of the body. Smart earrings measure body temperature. Headbands can measure sleep and brain waves, smart glasses can aide vision, smart inhalers help asthmatics, wireless glucose monitors show blood glucose levels, smartwatchess show vital signs, pulse oximeters measure the amount of oxygen in the blood, smart socks help manage diabetic feet, smart tattoos can measure vital signs. These are just a few of the newer measuring devices.  https://medicalfuturist.com/the-wearable-health-tracker-landscape-18-devices-on-18-body-parts

This reference shows a patent for a new device that can measure frequencies of disorders and diseases. It can point to new, less invasive methods of healing. https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2010039465A2/en

This site was billed as "Full Body Healing." I tuned in to it for a few minutes and found that tensions I didn't know I was carrying in muscles relaxed. My breathing deepened. I felt a certain mental clearing. You might want to try it.

Sometimes we're resistant to doing new things. We may think they don't fit our mental paradigm or belief systems. I've learned over the years that quite a few things I was formerly taught as "truth," don't measure up to current understandings..

It seems that we're entering a new era when diagnosis and treatments will be based on energetics. So, let's explore the use of thermography to replace the standard mammogram. Newer equipment may use the basics but enhance them by other methods including artificial intelligence (AI).

Thermographpy is also known as thermal imaging. A thermal camera detects infrared radiation that comes from the surface of objects. It will show up as temperature variations on a screen. However, the equipment itself does not expose the body to radiation.

Some women prefer this non-invasive procedure over the standard mammograms that were the go-to for decades. They have improved from the painful squeezings that were once part of that process, leaving choices up to the patient. However, the FDA and some physicians don't want women to leave mammograms out of the picture. So, let's explore what it's useful for. Their concern is false-positive readings.

However, mammgrams also have limitations. According to the Susan G. Komen site, they can identify "about 87% of women who have breast cancer." Older women have better results than younger ones. With that in mind, some doctors recommend doing both in order to compare results. https://www.komen.org/breast-cancer/screening/mammography/accuracy/

Thermography can detect skin cancer because the offender emits a different, but perhaps subtle temperature change from the rest of the skin. This may also be true in the breast, as the type of malignancies that can develop there will also emit a difference in temperature. It transmits an image in glowing terms of red, orange and yellow to show the distinction between normal tissue and anything else.

Thermography is not just helpful in detecting breast cancer. It can also be used to determine the presence of plaque inside blood vessels. It can determine certain neurological conditions such as nerve root compression, and determine the cause of certain nerve pain or peripheral nerve problems. https://resources.healthgrades.com/right-care/tests-and-procedures/thermography

The site above gives much helpful information about how to prepare for a treatment and how it's performed. Another site gave a different slant that I had not read before.  It said that the way thermography works is "based on Planck's radiation law. It states that any body with a temperature above absolulte zero (-273.15°C) emits energy in the infrared spectrum."

The types of cameras we've discussed being used for medical tests are also used for inspections of such things as industrial equipment, buildings, ships, aircraft and power plants.    https://dspanalytic.com/en/thermographic-cameras/

So, thermography is just one toe dip in the pool of understanding about frequencies and how they affect our bodies. We'll explore more as time goes on.
