Just days after declaring a "state of emergency" on utility costs, Sherrill has tapped Jennifer Granholm—the architect of Biden's energy crisis and champion of sky-high gas prices—to help lead her transition. Appointing one of the leaders responsible for the worst energy inflation in modern history is a flashing red warning sign for every ratepayer in New Jersey.

• Pausing American Natural Gas—Presiding over a "temporary suspension"of liquefied natural gas (LNG) project approvals
• A taxpayer-funded EV stunt that backfired—A House investigation found her 2023 EV road trip was so poorly executed that staff had to use a gas-powered vehicle to block charging stations—prompting involvement from local law enforcement.
• Praising California's costly energy model—Granholm routinely held up California—home of the nation's highest gas prices—as the blueprint for America.
