Washington, D.C. — Power The Future (PTF) announced today its support for the Trump administration to act against the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In the letter, PTF advocates for immediate action to stop the European Union from imposing sweeping climate mandates on American companies.

"Vice President Vance and Secretary Rubio were right to criticize the EU for punishing companies that don't censor speech — and this is the same dangerous strategy. Europe is now trying to control America's energy policy from across the Atlantic, and that cannot be allowed," said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future. "Our letter makes it clear: these radical climate mandates would destroy jobs, weaken supply chains, and punish the very American workers who helped Europe through its energy crisis. America's energy future belongs to American workers — not European bureaucrats."

In the letter, which can be found here, these directives would hit America's energy producers the hardest, burdening supply chains, delaying production, and raising costs for workers and families.
