Washington, D.C. - A North Dakota jury has ruled the eco-left group Greenpeace must pay over $660 million in damages for defamation and other claims from their protests surrounding the Dakota Access pipeline. In response, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future issued the following statement:
“For decades, green groups shielded themselves behind their non-profit status and climate change hysteria to push an agenda which has punished American energy workers and made our nation poorer and weaker. The American people are sick and tired of radical groups - be they climate, race, gender, or any other cause- wreaking havoc on our way of life. They are fighting back, and this jury verdict is beginning the process of restoring truth and justice to our public square”.
Power The Future is a 501c4 non-profit dedicated to fighting for American energy workers.
