Washington, D.C. - In less than 24 hours in the White House, President Donald Trump has made good on many of his campaign promises by signing a series of executive orders toward American energy dominance. Several of the actions coincide with recommendations outlined in Power The Future’s 2025 Energy Policy Roadmap, which are designed to reverse the damage done during the previous administration while lowering costs and making our nation more secure.

"If you’re a fan of American energy, the last 24 hours are like Christmas all over again," said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. "However, this fight is just beginning because it will take time to undo the failures of the last administration, as well as pass new laws that can’t be undone by future administrations. Make no mistake: It is American energy liberation day and we’re just getting started."

Actions taken by President Trump in the last 24 hours that are part of PTF Energy Roadmap include:

Rescinding Biden’s Anti-Energy Executive Orders: President Trump signed orders to reverse previous administration policies, including withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement.

Ending Biden’s lease moratorium by declaring a national energy emergency: President Trump declared a national emergency on energy to expedite fossil fuel infrastructure development and increase energy production.

Reversing Failed Electric Vehicle Mandates: President Trump rescinded policies around electric vehicle production, aiming to reduce costs and expand consumer choice.
