It's probably not unusual for big time politics to need a few extra bucks from time to time.
However, after Kamala spent, somehow, over a billion dollars in 107 days campaigning a year ago, seems odd the Democratic National Committee requires a little more cash to help out in this year's elections.
Couldn't they simply ask her for a handout? Surely, she has some leftover gravy stashed somewhere.
According to federal documents recently disclosed, the DNC took out a $15 million loan in October to help cover expenses of fall's state elections. — The Wall Street Journal, Nov. 21, 2025.
Apparently, Democrats are ailing from a lack of contributions. Perhaps, due to the fact they seem to be in "transition" from a moderately liberal party to one totally enthralled with the promises and b.s. of full-blown socialism.
Elections in New York City and Seattle are evidence.
Reality is, these cities need money to function — that's the facts of life. Regardless of how many free-goodies various candidates have promised to provide.
Actually, not everyone must be happy with the direction Dems are headed, or else donations would probably be more robust.
On the other hand, the Wall Street Journal also reports Republicans currently have about a 4-to-+-1 dollar lead over the Blue Party.
Of course, figures can quickly change the closer 2026 elections approach.
As usual, wealthy Democrats will open their wallets to assist. Only this time, proponents of socialistic issues have made their intentions clear: Tax the rich, no voter ID, more LGBTQA recognition, guaranteed income, rent subsidies, gender-transition and abortions forever — anytime.
Besides their redundant "We hate Trump!" chant, that's pretty much their spiel.
Economic issues, a failing educational system, rocketing health insurance premiums, millions of illegal immigrants (and subsequent crime) trapsing into the country is not overly concerning to them.
Basically, a "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" attitude appears to be the foundation of their idea of good government.
Especially, if everyone else pays for it.
Do they really believe "taxing the rich" is going to pay for all the freebies? If so, they're disassociated from the "real world" more than previously imagined.
Absent from their dimwitted "No Kings" sidewalk pleas is the glaring fact socialism/communism has always failed — unless held in place with government sponsored police and military enforcement.
Accepting this temporary advantage, socialism eventually descends into a chaotic mishmash of folks fighting over limited foods, resources and personal safety.
All the while, the few managers at the top are immune to the misery they've created — living comfortably as society crumbles.
The new mayor of New York City — a professed socialist/communist — visited with President Trump in attempts to make peace and be sure federal dollars continued rolling into NYC's coffers.
Realizing, without monetary assistance from Washington, city services would quickly unravel.
It's a vicious cycle of demands and supply, , production and available labor, incentive snd suffocating regulations, and excessive taxation to remain in an environment with dwindling chances of prosperity.
Simply, why would large businesses, local shop owners and working people choose to stay in an area which taxes and restricts opportunities for profit and success when they can go somewhere else with fewer prohibitions?
Incidentally, this is actually what we are seeing in Texas, Florida, Arizona and several other states as New Yorkers and Californians are fleeing in droves.
That's fine — as long as they don't bring their messed-up politics and addlebrained ideas with them.
Otherwise, they can stay home and continue wallowing in a cesspool of their own making.
Eventually, maybe their collective brains will finally comprehend how to put out the fires that seem to continually harass parts of the Golden State.
At least, make sure there's water in the neighborhood hydrants — kinda important when fighting fires.
Then again, that may be too much to expect when climbing social ladders is the primary objective of a good politician. Shaking hands, kissing babies and promising everything to everyone makes for good press releases, but pocketing boat loads of donations is what greases the wheels of a successful campaign.
Although, in Kamala's case, even a billion bucks wasn't enough to overcome her image as a lackluster Presidential candidate with a nearly invisible record of achievements.
Now and then, it takes more than money and lies to fool most of the people.
As strange as it sounds, a lot of folks have actually figured out the con!!!
