As Donald Trump resumes his tenure as President — interrupted by the four-year debilitating term of Joe Biden — he's inherited a smorgasbord of unpleasant tasting vittles and snacks.
With a domestic economy in tatters, an almost incomprehensible national debt, international geo-political scenes rattled by several incidents and armed conflicts, and a nearly equally divided governing coalition at home, Trump appears to face a future wrought with uncertainty.
Yet, despite numerous difficulties and doubts, he campaigned tirelessly for the job he lost during the 2020 election.
Although continually hounded by an opposing political machine, twice impeached, indicted and convicted, home raided by Biden's FBI, "gagged" from publicly commenting about his trials, castigated hourly by a media labeling him the new "Hitler," attempted removal of his name from primary election in a few states, and then encouraged the crowd to "Fight! Fight! Fight!" after being wounded during an assassination effort, he still managed to maintain the desire to seek reemployment in a government that totally despises him.
What kind of individual would endanger himself and family to these life-changing events by exposing them to all this crap?
Obviously, not your ordinary billionaire.
Trump is a guy who can see beyond the fickleness of political parties and financial markets. He realizes the greater importance of maintaining the public's divinely inspired freedoms and protections outlined in the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution.
Two documents that are the bedrock of our society — not the DNC, RNC, UN, NATO, farcical fantasies of Karl Marx or the seismic-like charts of the Dow Jones Industrial Averages.
As a counterbalance to these daily distractions, President Ronald Reagan reminded us to keep our eyes on the prize as the extinction of freedom is only a generation away.
A generation is not a very long period of time.
Apparently, Mr. Trump shares similar views. Which might help explain his unique opinions and stubborn willingness to go against the grain.
Joe, on the other hand, seemed quite relaxed adhering to the "You get what you pay for" philosophy of governance. Sort of a discounted version of the original without all the bells, whistles and Constitutional safeguards.
Adding to his chronicles, he'll be regarded as a 50-year Democrat, mediocre career politician who is certain to gradually fade into obscurity, woefully forgetful of the contents of the 237-year-old mandate he once swore to uphold and defend.
Joe's final Presidential act occurred while incoming President Trump was making his inaugural speech. In a blatant affront to decency and Presidential decorum, Biden signed an Executive Order pardoning many members his family for alleged crimes or future crimes they may become involved in.
The pardon of his family brings the count to over 2400 people he's pardoned or commutated. Including Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden's disease and health expert during the COVID brouhaha, and Army Gen. Mark Milley, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (Oct. 2019 - Sep. 2023).
Why would Joe pardon these people? Unless he believes they could become involved — in some revealing and incriminating way — in future legal entanglements.
Not being a lawyer, I have to wonder is it actually possible to pardon someone before they commit a crime or convicted? If a suspect is not charged with a specific legal infraction, how is it possible to forgive him of it before it even happens?
Will we eventually learn buried somewhere in the pile of pardons Joe's conveniently excused himself? He's recently informed us since he hasn't done anything wrong, there was no need to.
And we know Joe always tells the truth. Except when he doesn't.
In my opinion, this seals the deal: Joe is — without a doubt — the absolute worst and most corrupt President in United States History!
