By Mike Bibb
Okay, by now The Beat readers have probably realized my brain works at a different frequency from most.
Which might help explain why I don't see any difference between a mother and doctor aborting an innocent, defenseless unborn baby, from someone intentionally murdering someone else because they wanted to.
Nor, do I understand society's rules separating the similarities. Why willfully terminating a five-, six- or nine-month-old human fetus is permissible because it's "an inconvenience," "a woman's right to choose" or "healthcare," but plunging a knife into the throat of a subway passenger is homicide?
Since an unborn baby is part of the mother, and dependent upon the health and safety of the mother, then the baby should have the same civil and constitutional rights as the mother.
Why can an unborn baby be aborted, but its mother — composed of corresponding DNA — be allowed to escape the same cruel fate?
How can different parts of a mother's body be protected by law, while other parts are not?
Equally confusing, what is the purpose of parents permitting their young children to switch genders because they believe, somehow, they were born in the wrong body?
Adding to the confusion, medical doctors and psychiatrists financially gain from participating in thse despicable procedures — overlooking the Hippocratic Oath "Do no harm" principle which says, in part — "Into whatsoever houses I enter, I will enter to help the sick, and I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm, especially from abusing the bodies of man or woman."
Then, there's the completely baffling phenomenon of how a highly educated female United States Supreme Court Justice couldn't answer the simple question "Can you describe what a woman is?"
She thought for a moment and casually replied "No, I can't. I'm not a biologist."
More than likely she's not an astronaut, nuclear physicist or UPS driver, either, but I'd imagine she has a general idea of what they are and do.
To openly admit she can't explain what a woman is even though, presumably, she is one, is a comment that should be recorded in "Ripley's Believe It Or Not."
There's stupid, and then there's super stupid. Or for whatever reasons, she intentionally invoked a sort of lame 5th Amendment reply — she knows what a woman is but won't truthfully answer the question because she's not a biologist.
As if, somehow, this word-twisting absolves her from responding responsibly to the question because, by some chance, she's possibly a person who believes there really are 274 trans-gendered configurations.
Maybe, more. Who knows?
Yet, this is the mentality presently permeating much of our nation's academic, legal and social environments.
What seems completely backwards is promoted as being totally logical. Parents, and taxpayers, pay thousands of dollars annually for their kids to be indoctrinated by this nonsense. Yet, the longer and more expensive the schooling, the more confused they become.
Anyone disagreeing is seen as an unenlightened buffoon, whose opinions and remarks are so ridiculous and out-of-step with the mainstream that their observations should be totally ignored.
Excepting, we're told, in the interest of fairness different points of view are acceptable — as long as they're the correct different points of view.
There's no benefit getting into the clown show modern politics has morphed into it. Other than to say, many of the current participants are natural born goofballs or have worked overtime achieving this distinction.
Either that, or their goals and aspirations are diametrically opposed to the concepts of the 39 delegates who signed the U.S. Constitution.
What once was an honorable ambition, occupied by individuals actually seeking to improve the performance and safely preserve the continuance of the states and nation, has been infected with a disabling socialistic virus that threatens to maim the very laws and principles penned into our founding documents.
In large part, being elected and serving in government has become a full-time profession. While there are term limits on the President, and various state and local positions, there are no restrictions on Members of Congress.
As long as they are reelected, they can stay in office until they die — or their brains turn to mush.
Actually, having a mushy brain is not always an impediment. Sometimes, it's difficult to tell the difference if a Congressional representative — or President — has a functioning cerebrum or malfunctioning one.
Until, of course, the disability becomes painfully obvious. Reaching the level a Supreme Court Justice might notice.
This Fall's roster of state and national candidates is populated by all sorts of folks with conservative, liberal, ultra-liberal and "Out-to-Lunch" ideas.
Even the wacky Lefty Wokers are beginning to act somewhat rational, compared to the lunatic Democratic communist/socialist cabal creeping into various government offices.
Reluctance and ignorance can be dealt with through reasoning and patience. Just because a person is lacking knowledge, or misinformed, does not necessarily indicate they are incapable of learning.
However, a person intentionally advocating the overthrow of our government is an entirely different story — and needs to be handled in a less gentle manner.
At least, that's what my brain thinks about it.
Undoubtedly, others will gladly stand in line to sign a petition committing me to the nearest rubber room, with a caption taped above the door:
If you dare to take a good look and see,
The dopy Mike Bibb, a phony Pharisee.
He thought words really have intentions,
Explained by Mr. Webster's descriptions.
"Silly man" legal advocates shouted,
Words mean what we've decided.
Monday's lingo may be one thing,
While Tuesday's aren't quiet the same.
By Saturday night it's nearly chaos,
Sunday comes and we beg forgiveness.
Clock strikes midnight — Monday again,
And Mike thinks things are gonna change.
"Confused dude, he's lost his mind,
Poor guy will be here a long, long time."
Visiting hours are nine-to-five,
Drop by and listen to his foolish jive.
He'll spin tales beyond comprehension,
About Dems, Repubs and old Joe Biden.
That's okay, Joe's shuttled to Delaware,
As Mike lounges in a sanitarium somewhere.
For your safety don't chat too long,
Or you might believe his dance and song.
There's a reason he's securely isolated,
Society isn't safe unless he's medicated.
Tell your family and social media friends,
A day with Mike seems like it never ends!
