Within the past several years, The Democrat Party seems to be dissolving into a socialist, far-left organization, abandoning previous traditional Democratic principles and traditions that were supported by a large percentage of the population.
Several current Party leaders and influencers have noted the shift and expressed concern.
Two recent events have punctuated the transition — the removal of Joe Biden and installation of Kamala Harris as the Democrat Party candidate for President in 2024 without going through the process of a primary election, and New York City's selection of a "Socialist/Communist Democrat" to be the Party's entry in the upcoming city election.
New York City is the nation's largest city, financial hub of the United States and can exert political influence into state and national affairs.
In essence, there is no longer any pretense in disguising the reality of the situation: Dems have intentionally steered way left-of-center and don't give a rat's patoot who knows it.
Endorsing the change, multiple news and social medias openly support the reorganization; editorializing and enthusiastically trumpeting the glories of socialism, while taking care to avoid any mention of its disastrous history.
People quickly forget, and the con-artists of socialism/communism know this. Similar to the sales pitches used during the COVID outbreak when politicians, government health officials and various disease experts warned every one of the importance of closing schools, churches, businesses, cancelling Thanksgiving and Christmas family gatherings, wearing facemasks and injecting themselves with some kind of unproven vaccine concoction "To flatten the curve" of the disease.
A "booster shot" soon followed because it was insisted a single "jab" wasn't enough. Then a second, third and fourth.
Death statistics ballooned out of proportion to reality as it became common to link fatalities — from virtually any cause — to the COVID virus.
It was irrationality run amok. The nonsense went on for a couple of years. We are still recovering from the craziness and now Congressional investigations are revealing the trickery and lies perpetrated by many proponents of this fake crisis.
Aware of the deceptions and possible future legal skirmishes, some of the principal suspects received pardons from former President Joe Biden prior to his leaving office in January. That is, he, or someone authorized them. I doubt the autopen machine made those dubious decisions or magically signed them by itself.
A similar strategy appears to be the modus operandi of the Democrat Party's radical left swing. If a distortion is proclaimed often and passionately, then it takes on the appearance of fact; truth becomes fiction, stop is optional and socialism is good.
Further evidence of the progressive Dems campaign against basic logic is their redefinition of President Trump now being labeled a "King," when just a few weeks ago he was "Hitler," before that a "repulsive Republican," a "reality TV host" and an envious "rich playboy."
In another month or so, they might be calling him "Trump the Terrible" or "The Devil in Disguise" or something in between.
I haven't quite decided if Democrats have created a special job classification for talented individuals possessing the unusual imagination of creating memes and titles to slander Trump. It appears to have become a cottage industry whose primary concern is the manufacture and distribution of anti-Trump propaganda, rumor mongering, name-calling, impeachments and indictments.
Again, along the lines of their openly promoted socialism endorsement — "Just because socialism has never successfully worked for very long where ever it's been tried, is no reason to believe it won't work now" goes the reasoning.
To hell with human nature and the fact civilization is replete with the failures of previous societies who have tinkered with socialism or its facsimiles.
Actually, Hitler and Mao Tse Tung type guys often arise from the ashes of failed socialist experiments. For the simple reason there is always someone who wants to be the Big Dog in such an operation, and will do whatever it takes to maintain his prominence. Including using the police and military to enforce authority.
People often forget Mao was also the author of another famous quote, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." Sometimes, it's necessary to kill your own people in order to seize and maintain control. Particularly, if they don't have the means to shoot back.
Usually, the whole socialist-communist thing eventually implodes from greed, clueless incompetence or war. A transient trait of humanity surfacing from time-to-time to wipe the slate clean.
Former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, summed up the socialist scam very succinctly when she commented — "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money."
Unfortunately, some people never seem to grasp this basic truism until it's too late.
Maybe, it's time to revisit the "Communist Control Act of 1954," and refresh our memory of what it was designed to accomplish.
Obviously, some kind of government intervention is needed to halt the spread of communist/socialist Democrat politics.
Remember, this is the same political party that assured us "The border is closed and a COVID shot would stop the spread of the virus" as millions of illegal crossers scampered across and millions more got sick.
I hesitate to say Dems have been deceiving us for a long time, but it sure looks that way!
