The climate change industry is well known for being wrong and having to change their message in order to keep the cash flowing to their organizations and subsequently to the politicians. Originally the message was an Ice Age is coming; then it was ,oh wait it's getting hotter. That's right, global warming is going to kill us all. Then when the data didn't fit those arguments, they changed it to climate change, which could be different in different parts of the world. When you change your position so many times, eventually you're going to start sounding really dumb.
The climate change alarmists are blaming the current heat wave in Europe on one of the intended and desired results of getting rid of fossil fuel generated electricity plants: clean air. The United Kingdom's MET collaborated with Spanish scientists to study the climate change models, which they said predicted global warming but not in the way it was being experienced.
From 1980, Europe warmed around 1C degree more than the average of extratropical areas of the Northern Hemisphere, and around 1.5C more than the global average," said Pedro Roldán‐Gómez, one of the study's lead researchers. "Most of this excess warming over Europe can be linked to the reduction of particle emissions." He went on to explain that the particle emission reduction was directly tied to the closing of fossil fuel generating electricity plants. Those particulates would help to block UV rays from the sun period now that more of those rays are reaching the Earth's atmosphere and ground; it is getting warmer.
By factoring in the particulate emissions reduction, they "fixed" climate change formulas. Now those formulas are accurately predicting the current heat waves not only in Europe, but also in America and other parts of the world. Of course, the study submitted for peer review has its critics. Many of the predictive elements of their formulas are considered irrelevant, or the data input for that part of the formula is inaccurate. So basically, what these scientists are doing is going back after they see the result, not only altering the formula, but altering the inputs in order to say yes, we were right.
And people wonder why we don't trust the science.
