One of the undeniable truths of life in my world is that you should watch what people do. It will tell you much more about their real intentions than if you listen to their words. This applies especially to politicians and members of the corporate propaganda media. That doesn't mean, however, that you shouldn't listen to their words. Because sometimes they'll tell you exactly what they are going to do.
New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani told people what he was going to do at a recent appearance in which he talked about immigration policy in the United States. Mayor Mamdani called for America to align with Islamic law and the Prophet Mohammed in order to support mass immigration especially from the Middle East. The mayor said specifically that Islam is a religion built upon a narrative of migration. During his remarks he cited the Hijrah, the Prophet Mohammed's migration from Mecca to Medina in 622-CE. He said it was a foundational example of how societies should treat strangers and refugees.
He quoted Surah An-Nahl 16:42: "As for those who emigrated in the cause of Allah after being persecuted, we will surely bless them with a good home in this world." He also referenced a saying of the Prophet Muhammad: "Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers." And there it is, plain as day, his purpose. He said specifically and clearly that his policies are intended for those who emigrate in the cause of Allah. Not people who come here for economic or political freedom but those who come to establish the caliphate.
Mamdani argued that if faith provides the moral compass to stand with the stranger, then the government must provide the resources to protect and embrace them. He called for a new expectation at City Hall where power is used to "love, embrace, and protect" immigrants. Now when you take the words of the prophet in his religion in context it is to spread the word of Islam; it is to establish Islam as the dominant religion in the world. If you think the mayor is not trying to create an Islamic caliphate in the United States, you are not paying attention.
The Democrat party leaders think they are using Muslims to bring in socialism. The Muslims are using Democrat party leaders to bring in the Islamic caliphate. Either the Democrat party leaders are too stupid to realize what is happening or they think that somehow, they can control the outcome. At some point it becomes uncontrollable, and we will all pay the price of their ignorance or their hubris.
