Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce Statement Regarding the Grant County Veterans' Memorial Business and Conference Center
The Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce acknowledges the Grant County Commission's decision to resume direct management of the Grant County Veterans' Memorial Business &and Conference Center.
For more than a decade, the Chamber has had the privilege of managing the Conference Center and working alongside Grant County leadership, local businesses, community organizations, and visitors who have utilized this important community asset. We are grateful for the opportunity to have served in this role and proud of the work accomplished through this long-standing partnership.
Throughout this time, our priority has been to ensure the success of the Conference Center and provide high-quality service to the thousands of residents, organizations, businesses, and visitors who depend on the facility each year. We remain appreciative of the trust placed in the Chamber and the relationships built through those efforts.
The Chamber wishes County leadership and staff success as they resume direct management of the facility. We recognize that transitions of this nature can present challenges, and we are committed to working collaboratively with the County to help make the transition as smooth and successful as possible.
Our focus has always been on what best serves the community. As the Conference Center enters its next chapter, the Chamber remains committed to working professionally and constructively with Grant County on initiatives that benefit our members and the community.
As the Chamber looks ahead, we are excited about the future of our organization and the opportunity to further focus our time, energy, and resources on supporting local businesses, promoting economic vitality, advocating for our members, strengthening tourism efforts, and serving as a catalyst for community success.
