...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT...
The Flood Watch remains in effect for southwestern New Mexico and
portions of far west Texas through Wednesday evening.
...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Southwestern New Mexico, El Paso County, and western
Hudspeth County.
* WHEN...Through 7 PM Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A late season plume of deep tropical moisture is transported
northward ahead of an upper-level disturbance, bringing several
rounds of thunderstorms with high rainfall rates to the region
through Wednesday evening. Repeated thunderstorms may result in
isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding.
