* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Grant County in southwestern New Mexico...
North Central Luna County in southwestern New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 530 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1231 PM MDT, Moderate rainfall continues to affect eastern
Grant County, especially in the Upper Mimbres Basin. This will
lead to minor flows in arroyos and low water crossings through
the afternoon, especially along Highways 35, 61, and 152. Rises
are likely in the Mimbres River as well.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Faywood, San Lorenzo, Sherman, Mimbres, San Juan, and Noonday
Canyon.
