Dr. Ana DoloresSILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO – Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) is proud to announce the successful completion of the New Mexico Psychology Internship Consortium (NM-PIC) internship program by Dr. Ana R. Dolores and Dr. Byron Garcia, marking an important milestone in their professional journeys toward becoming licensed psychologists.
As a founding member of the New Mexico Psychology Internship Consortium, HMS remains committed to developing the next generation of behavioral health professionals while addressing the critical mental health needs of rural and underserved communities throughout New Mexico. The consortium model brings together training sites across the state to provide doctoral psychology interns with comprehensive clinical experiences, supervision, and professional development opportunities. HMS has proudly participated in the program since its inception.

Throughout their internship year at HMS, Dr. Dolores and Dr. Garcia provided vital behavioral health services to patients across southwest New Mexico while gaining valuable experience in integrated care, community mental health, and serving rural populations. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care have made a lasting impact on the individuals and families they served during their time with the organization.

As Dr. Dolores and Dr. Garcia transition to their postdoctoral training assignments, HMS extends its sincere gratitude for their contributions and wishes them continued success in their careers.
