Living Art Studio concept was originally conceived by Juniper Bowers back in 2010 in our neighboring Mimbres Valley. We revived the concept as Educators of Art and Movement's premier project in September, 2025. Though the model was successful, we did not have enough participants to make rent at 108 E College.

We are grateful for your continued feedback so that we can bestserve the needs of our community. As of July 31st, 2026, the Living Arts Studio will close its doors for business. But cheer up, buttercup, the adventure continues with Educators of Art and Movement, the nonprofit behind LAS.

Educators of Art and Movement is gearing up for Silver City Street Jam, May 15-16, 2027. This year, the team plans to secure Gough Park for the main location for the 2-day fundraiser, with openings for vendors. Follow @silvercitystreetjam on Instagram for updates. Questions? At Silver City Street Jam 2026, we raised $3,005.23! Thank you, Otter Chaos, for your generosity as a platinum sponsor. Our gratitude to all who contributed to our premier fundraiser! $1,428.07 is what remains after covering the cost of the event. Our goal was $5,000, and that is what we will aim for again in 2027.
