CLAY Festival 2026 begins next week, and we're excited to welcome artists, visitors, and community members to a week of workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, artist talks, family activities, and more throughout Grant County. Many events are free and open to the public

Join featured artists Penelope Van Grinsven, Bradley Klem, and Stephanie Seguin for a conversation about their work, creative process, and contemporary ceramics.
Convergence Closing Reception & Awards
Saturday, June 20 • 5–7 pm • Light Art Space
Celebrate the conclusion of Convergence, CLAY Festival's juried exhibition, with an evening reception, award announcements, and remarks from the exhibition jurors.

In addition to workshops and exhibitions, CLAY Festival includes a variety of free and community-focused events throughout the week.
Highlights include Mata Ortiz pottery demonstrations, family-friendly clay activities at the WNMU Museum, the CLAY Market, and the dedication of Where the Mountains Remember, a new mural by artist Delia deVer. Visitors can also join Kate Brown in Mimbres for the Shard Wall and Open House, featuring stories, photographs, refreshments, and a chance to learn more about her latest installation reflecting on her decades long career in pottery.
The festival also includes artist talks, receptions, and other opportunities to engage with ceramics throughout the week.
