Silver City, NM — The Gila Community Foundation (GCF) is pleased to announce the opening of the Spring 2026 Southline Grant Cycle, providing funding opportunities for organizations working to address critical needs across Southwest New Mexico.
Through this competitive grant program, GCF will support projects that strengthen communities in Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, and Doña Ana counties, with funding priorities guided by the Southline Advisory Committee based on community need and application strength.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include organizations serving the four-county region, including:
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations Churches and faith-based organizations Municipalities and public entities advancing community-focused projects
Compliance Requirements
All applicants must be in good standing with:
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) The New Mexico Secretary of State The New Mexico Combined Reporting System (COROS)
Organizations are strongly encouraged to verify compliance prior to applying, as non-compliant applicants may not be eligible for funding.
Funding Focus
Grant funding is flexible and responsive to community needs. Applicants are encouraged not to self-select out based on perceived priorities.
