Join us Sunday, Sept 13 at 5:00pm for Glenwood Library's Author Event featuring the award winning author, Kevin Fedarko whose gruelling trek through 750 miles of the Grand Canyon brought awe and inspiration to his readers. He also won the Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction and Reading the West Book Award.

Kevin Fedarko has spent the past twenty years writing about conservation, exploration, and the Grand Canyon. He has been a staff writer at Time, where he worked primarily on the foreign affairs desk, and a senior editor at Outside, where he covered outdoor adventure. His writing has appeared in National Geographic, The New York Times, and Esquire, among other publications.

His adventurous books are our library's top-circulating items, a very favorite author in our community! Fedarko will be traveling from his home in Flagstaff, Arizona to meet us and share his experiences. He is currently writing a book about the Grand Canyon's North Rim fire.
