Hector M. Molina, Jr., 59, of Lordsburg, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2026. His sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Hector was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Though his life was taken far too soon, the love, laughter, faith, and countless memories he created will continue to live on through everyone who knew and loved him.
One of the most special relationships in Hector's life was the deep and unconditional love he shared with his father, Hector Molina, Sr. Their bond was one of a kind—a love built through years of family, memories, laughter, and a connection that could never be replaced. Hector loved his dad deeply, and that love was evident in the way he spoke about him, cared for him, and cherished the time they shared. The loss of Hector leaves behind not only a beloved son, but a piece of his father's heart that will forever carry his memory.
Hector was a proud and dedicated retired member of the Army National Guard, where he honorably served for 24 years. During his military career, he served in Iraq, assisted with the cleanup efforts following Hurricane Katrina, and served as an instructor at White Sands. His commitment to serving his country was a source of great pride and reflected the dedication, strength, and determination that defined so much of his life.
Beyond his service, Hector will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He had an affectionate personality and a warm, joyful spirit that made people feel comfortable and loved. He had a way of bringing life and laughter into a room and leaving people with a smile.
Hector had a deep love for music and an even greater love for making the people around him smile. He loved to sing and dance and could often be found breaking out into song without hesitation. One of the sweetest ways he expressed his love was by serenading his wife, Michelle. He would spontaneously break into song and sing to her, turning ordinary moments into special memories and reminding her of just how deeply he loved her.
Hector also loved singing Las Mañanitas for his family and friends on their birthdays and special occasions. It was one of the many ways he celebrated the people he loved. His singing was never simply about the music—it was about making people feel special, remembered, and loved.
His passion for music also led him to DJ, allowing him to share his love of music and entertainment with others. Whether he was singing, dancing, DJing, joking around, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Hector brought a sense of happiness and energy wherever he went.
Above all, Hector loved the Lord. His faith was an important part of his life, and he openly shared his love for God with his family and friends. His faith, love, and devotion will remain an important part of the legacy he leaves behind.
Hector is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Michelle; his father, Hector Molina, Sr.; his daughters, Tara (Eusebio), Marissa (Ashley), Serina, and Penelope; his stepchildren, Bryan Marquez and Alysha Marquez; his brother, Jimmy Molina (Sandra); his sisters, Cecilia Martinez-Carlisle (Randy), Virginia (Henry), and Anna (Randy); and his grandchildren, Eusebio, Jr. and Faith.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Adelia Martinez.
Though Hector's life ended unexpectedly and far too soon, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, the songs he sang, and the memories he created will never be forgotten. His voice may have fallen silent, but the love behind it will continue to echo through the lives of everyone he touched.
He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, proud grandfather, beloved brother, and loyal friend. His life was filled with faith, music, laughter, service, and above all, love. The impact he made on those around him cannot be measured by the years he lived, but by the countless lives he touched.
His family takes comfort in knowing that his memory will live on—in every song he loved, every story that makes them laugh, every birthday where Las Mañanitas is sung, and in the hearts of the people he loved most.
Though he is no longer here to sing the songs, tell the jokes, or fill the room with his presence, the memories of Hector will continue to sing through the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed until the day he is reunited with those he loved.

A Celebration of Hector's Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at:

Following the service, Hector will be laid to rest at Shakespeare Cemetery with full military honors
