MoralesIgnacioIgnacio (Nacho) Roberto Morales, 81, a resident of Hurley, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 3, 1944, in Silver City, NM, to his parents Miguel Morales and Teodora Sepulveda Cisneros.

Nacho was a very loving man that would help anyone in need, he went above and beyond for those he loved even if it meant that he would have to do without. He was also short tempered and would let you know when you were wrong in his mind.  Nacho loved hunting and fishing, riding his horses "Pepper", "Lucky", and "Estrellita", however his favorite of the 3 was "Pepper", he really loved that horse with the passion.  Spending time with the family and friends, and entertaining family that would come to Silver City, visiting from California and Oregon were one of his favorite past times. He enjoyed taking them out to Signal Peak for some fun in the snow, riding dirt bikes in the mountains and desert areas or hunting and fishing at local lakes and rivers.  Taking his kids and family, including everyone and anyone who wanted to go on outdoor adventures was always a fun time.  He was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and made it a point to never miss watching a game.

He was very proud of the home that he bought in "La Capilla" area in Silver City, NM, he remodeled the home, and he and the mother of his children Sally raised their four children in that home.  Nacho grew up with the love for hard work while working at a ranch with his Grandfather Jose Trujillo. That's where he learned to brand cattle, and fix fence lines, and care for horses, cattle, and work the fruit orchards.  He later learned the art of carpentry including commercial and industrial levels from remodeling homes, building homes, pouring concrete, reading blueprints and applying his knowledge to his work to ensure satisfied customers.

He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia (Reese) Morales, of the family home; his sons, Frank Morales, Steve Morales (Michael), Victor Morales, and his daughter Francine Morales Jurado (David), his grandchildren Frankie Jr., Vanessa, Janel, Genevieve, Mariah, Rhiannan, Caelyn; his great-grandchildren, Jacob, Trinity, Bentley, Haliegh, Nicholas, Nicholai, Bella, Kiko, Elaine; his siblings, Francis Torres, Margaret Frenandez, Nati Huerta, Richard Cisneros, Lydia Matcham, Lisa Vera, George Morales, Mike Morales, his stepson John Reese (Ginny), stepdaughters Julie Ponce (Chris), Billie Gabaree; the mother of his children Sally Morales.
