U.S Marshals locate and recover two missing juveniles from Arizona in the Albuquerque Metro Area
Albuquerque, NM– The U.S. Marshal Service, Southwest Investigative Fugitive Taskforce, recovered two missing juveniles in the Albuquerque Metro Area.
On September 15,2026, the U.S Marshal Service- District of Arizona contacted the United States Marshals Service-District of New Mexico for assistance in trying to locate and recover two missing female juveniles out of Glendale Metro Area in Arizona. The juveniles are 17, and 13, who were suspected victims of sex trafficking.
Southwest Investigative Fugitive Taskforce, worked diligently to gather intelligence quickly to locate and recover the two missing juveniles. After a few hours deputies were able to locate the missing juveniles in the 500 Block of Copper Ave. NW Albuquerque New Mexico.
"The safety and security of children will forever remain one of our most important responsibilities," said U.S. Marshal David Barnett Jr., "In them lies the hope for a stronger and brighter future."
"The safe recovery of these two juveniles demonstrates what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together," said U.S. Marshal for the District of Arizona Van Bayless. "We are grateful to the District of New Mexico for their immediate response and unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable children. Because of their efforts, these young people are safe and can begin receiving the care and support they need."
