NMSU Global Campus is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Central New Mexico Society for Human Resource Management to expand access to professional development, workforce education and leadership training for human resource professionals, employers, working professionals and students across New Mexico and beyond.

As part of the partnership, Central New Mexico SHRM will leverage NMSU Global Campus' innovative microlearning platform to deliver virtual events and educational programming, making professional development more accessible, flexible and impactful for learners at every stage of their careers. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to workforce readiness, talent development and lifelong learning.

"We are excited to partner with Central New Mexico SHRM to help connect professionals and students with relevant, industry-driven learning opportunities," said Andrew Sedillo, executive director of strategic initiatives and partnerships at NMSU Global Campus. "Together, we are creating new pathways for individuals to develop workforce skills, strengthen leadership capabilities, and stay ahead of emerging workplace trends."

Central New Mexico SHRM serves HR professionals throughout New Mexico by providing educational resources, networking opportunities, career development programs, mentorship and professional certification support. Through this partnership, NMSU Global Campus will help expand a growing portfolio of virtual events and learning experiences designed to strengthen talent pipelines and address evolving workforce needs.

The partnership aligns with both organizations' focus on developing talent, advancing the HR profession and creating opportunities for professional growth. Future programming is expected to address topics including leadership development, employee engagement, workplace wellness, talent acquisition, workforce development, emerging technologies and the future of work.

The first webinar offered through the partnership, "Imposter Syndrome: The Conversation We're Not Having, But Should Be," will be held Tuesday, June 16. The interactive session will help participants understand the causes of imposter syndrome, identify personal triggers, distinguish between self-doubt and reality, and develop practical strategies to build confidence and resilience in the workplace.

A unique aspect of the partnership is the opportunity for college students to participate alongside HR professionals, business leaders and industry practitioners. By engaging in these professional learning experiences, students gain exposure to real-world workplace challenges and develop career-ready skills before entering the workforce.

"At Central New Mexico SHRM, our mission is to build networks, inspire leadership, drive business success, and advance the HR profession," said Rebecca Basquez, president of Central New Mexico SHRM. "Partnering with NMSU Global Campus allows us to extend our reach, deliver more accessible learning experiences, and strengthen the connection between education and the workforce."
