Santa Fe, NM – Today, seventeen bills were passed by the New Mexico House of Representatives as part of the "Rocket Docket". Each of the bills received bipartisan support as they passed through the House.

"After careful consideration of each bill, I am proud to announce that the House of Representatives has passed our Rocket Docket," said Speaker of the House, Rep. Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe). "I applaud both sides of the aisle for working together with a sense of urgency to send these bills to the Senate and the Governor so we can all make swift strides to change the lives of the people of New Mexico for the better."

"I am very proud of the work we have done today to pass the Rocket Docket," said Majority Leader, Rep. Sheryl Williams Stapleton (D-Albuquerque). Each bill was heard and debated by both sides of the aisle, and every question asked of the bill sponsors was answered. This is an important moment for the future of New Mexico and I applaud both our House Democratic and Republican Caucuses for working together."

Each of the bills included in the Rocket Docket received five or fewer votes in opposition in either chamber during the 2017 or 2018 legislative sessions. These bills will now be sent to the Senate for consideration.
