Three RMAC Basketball teams are included in the latest NCAA DII men's and women's basketball polls, 2 from the men's ranks and one from the women's side. Metro State University Denver remained ranked number 3 in the men's list while Colorado Colorado Springs jumped from number 18 to number 9, cracking the top ten for the first time in over a decade.

Metro State, 4-0, received 372 votes and 3 first place votes to land behind Southern Connecticut St at #2 and West Liberty (W. Va) at #1. West Liberty is 4-0 and garnered 392 votes along with 12 first place nods while SCS got 375 votes and no first place votes.

Ft. Lewis and Colorado School of Mines received votes, 12 and 11 respectively but did not crack the top 25. Angelo State, at 4-0 cracked the top 25, landing in 23rd place; ASU will visit Silver City to take on Western New Mexico on Monday night.

Colorado Mesa University's women's team dropped from their season opening #8 ranking to #16 after suffering a loss to drop to 1-1 on the season. The Lady Mavericks received 239 votes. Colorado State University Pueblo is the only other RMAC team receiving votes, 12, but did not crack the rankings.
