Five volleyball teams from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference received bids to the 64 team NCAA D-II National Championship Tournament. Regis University, which won the RMAC tournament championship and an automatic bid is the number one seed and will host the South Central Region Tournament Nov. 29 - Dec. 1 in Denver. The Rangers will face cross town rival and fellow RMAC member Metro State, the eighth seed, in round one. Regis was 2-0 against the Roadrunners this year.

RMAC regular season champion Colorado School of Mines earned a bid and will face Colorado Christian, the fourth team from the RMAC to make the tournament. Mines and Christian faced each other three times this season, most recently in the RMAC tournament semi-finals. The Orediggers hold a 3-0 advantage over the Cougars.

Adams State University received the final RMAC bid and will face Angelo State from the Lone Star Conference. Other teams in the South Central Region bracket include second seed West Texas A&M also from the Lone Star Conference and Arkansas Fort Smith from the Heartland Conference.

The NCAA Elite Eight Tournament will be held in Pensacola FL beginning December 8.
