Why am I not surprised by the results of the election?

Consider the following analysis of our voting population:

Almost 50% do not pay any income tax!
Over 46 million are on food stamps!

Over 40% are dependent on the Federal Government for handouts in one form or another, (NOT including Social Security and Medicare, which recipients paid into).

Government promises even more "goodies"-free birth control medication, amnesty for young illegals, and 12.5 million free "lifeline" phones.

So, if the Obama regime is Santa Claus offering all these goodies, who else would the Kool-Aid-drinking handout-seekers vote for if the alternative choice was self-reliance and work?
Wonder how the Kool-Aid drinkers will react when their needs are met on a par with the Hurricane Sandy victims? Ask the storm victims across the northeast how well their needs are being met by this "Santa Claus government."

I'm sure we can all look forward to similar quality service in any programs the government runs. Just look how well things are going with the post office.
