Santa Fe, NM - It's been almost two weeks since the start of the 2016 Legislative Session. House Republicans have been working long hours while fighting to make New Mexico a safer place to live. For example, on Friday night the House was in session until 9 p.m. and then came in Saturday morning for committee hearings.

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats, led by Michael Sanchez, have been moving very slowly even though there's a lot to get done in a short amount of time. In fact, on Friday the Senate adjourned at noon. In addition, they haven't passed one Senate Bill from the Floor.
