The Hi Lo Silvers choir will be presenting their Spring 2025 concerts on Friday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, at 3:00 p.m. in The Hearth Event Center (former First Presbyterian Church) at 1915 N. Swan Street in Silver City. Under the expert direction of Valdeen Wooton, the choir will perform songs from stage and movie productions, such as “Peter Pan,” “Sound of Music,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Funny Girl,” and “Jungle Book.” Other songs include “What the World Needs Now (Is Love Sweet Love),” “Sing!”, and “Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah.” Hi Lo Silvers is composed of 17 ladies and is accompanied by the highly talented Rhonda Gorog on piano, and Becky Harwood playing the melodious upright bass. The Hi LO Silvers wishes to thank The Hearth Event Center and their staff for the use of their facility for our rehearsals and performances.
