LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Silver City Economic Development and Research Committee Meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Silver City Town Hall Annex Upstairs Conference Room, 1203 N. Hudson, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:

1. CALL TO ORDER

2. CHANGES TO AGENDA

3. COMMITTEE COMMENTS

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

5. PUBLIC INPUT - During this portion of our meeting, we welcome your suggestions and want to hear your concerns. This is not a question-and-answer period; speakers will be limited to five (5) minutes.

A. RP-500 MONTHLY LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTION REPORT

B. RP-80 QUARTERLY REPORT

C. RP-80 MONTHLY REPORT

7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS-NONE

8. NEW BUSINESS:

A. ELECTION OF CHAIR

B. DISCUSSION OF NOTE-TAKING AND MEETING RECORDS ACCESS-DR. AIMAN-SMITH

C. DISCUSSION OF COMMITTEE SCOPE-DR VAN RANDOLPH, DR. VICENS

D. SHORT-TERM RENTAL PROCESS FLOW-DR. AIMAN-SMITH AND DR. VAN RANDOLPH

Agendas are available prior to the meeting and may be obtained at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway and City Hall Annex, 1203 North Hudson, or on the Town's website, www.townofsilvercity.org . If you have any questions regarding the public hearing, you may contact the Town Clerk at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway or call 575-534-6358. If you are an individual with a disability who needs a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, contact the Town Clerk at 575-534-6358 at least one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. Public documents, including the agenda and minutes, can be provided in various accessible formats. Please contact The Town Clerk if summary or other type of accessible format is needed.
