Notice of Public Meeting
Town of Silver City Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Plan 2027-2031 (ICIP)
The Town of Silver City wishes to inform all interested parties that a public meeting will be held at 1203 N. Hudson St., Silver City, NM on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the Upstairs Conference Room. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information from the previous year's ICIP and to seek input from the citizens of the Town of Silver City on projects for inclusion in a local infrastructure capital improvement plan, a plan that establishes planning priorities for anticipated capital projects and for the Silver City Senior Center.
Capital projects may include but are not limited to the following areas: administrative facilities, clean energy, streets, roads, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, bridges, bicycle lanes, housing, sewer collection and treatment, storm and surface water control, water, solid waste, public utilities, transit, airports, parks and trails, land and site acquisition, community service facilities, public safety and emergency, libraries, renovation, and regional projects.
The plan incorporates policy direction, funding timeframes, estimated costs, justifications, and the details of each specific infrastructure capital improvement project proposed, by year, for a five-year period.
