National Wreaths Across America Day is just around the corner on December 19, 2026 at 10:00 am (MST) (Wreath Placement 9:30 am ) at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery. We're getting closer to our goal, and we need your help to make sure every veteran's grave at our local cemetery is honored with a wreath.

If you've already sponsored a wreath this year, thank you! This message is being shared with all volunteers and supporters as we work toward our mission of remembering every veteran. If you'd like to continue helping us reach our goal of placing a wreath for every veteran, we deeply appreciate your ongoing support.

Why This Matters?

Every December, National Wreaths Across America Day brings our mission—Remember, Honor, and Teach—to life. Volunteers coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 6,000 locations across all 50 states, at sea, and abroad, honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans. Last year, more than 3.1 million veteran wreaths were placed nationwide!

At Ft. Bayard National Cemetery, there are 5,200 veterans to honor. Our goal is to place 5002 wreaths this year, and we're currently 42% of the way there.

How You Can Help?

Sponsor wreaths today by visiting https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/20403/overview/?Sid=20403%7C0%7C0%7C4 and clicking the Red Sponsor button. Every contribution helps us get closer to placing 100% wreaths and ensuring no veteran is forgotten.

Thank you for helping us honor every American hero—your support makes a meaningful difference!

Sincerely,

Connie Shivner Fort Bayard Coordinator
