As the last cowboys navigate drought, policy, and changing landscapes, the film looks beyond cowboy mythology to explore land, legacy, resilience, and the fragile future of a vanishing way of life. Director Tamar Lando will lead a Q & A immediately following the screening.

Christine Tassan & Les Imposteures bring dazzling gypsy jazz, swing, and chanson with the charm and precision of a band that knows how to make a room move. Led by Quebec guitarist, singer, composer, and arranger Christine Tassan - one of the rare female soloists in the gypsy jazz world - the ensemble blends Django Reinhardt-inspired virtuosity with playful arrangements, rich harmonies, and an infectious sense of joy.

Mitchell Thomashow is an environmental educator, author, and sustainability thinker whose work explores how people learn, live, and make meaning within the biosphere. Through books such as Ecological Identity and To Know the World: A New Vision for Environmental Learning, Thomashow encourages audiences to connect place, climate, democracy, equity, and daily life. His talks invite reflection on how environmental learning can shape more thoughtful communities and institutions.
