Project Information
Grant County is proposing a project to stabilize the banks of the Gila River in order to protect a historic bridge, private property, and access to several private residences. The project will be located near Cliff, NM between Highway 180 and Iron Bridge, located approximately 1⁄2-mile downstream. Grant County is working with Engineers Inc. and Parametrix

to develop the best design for stabilizing the banks of the Gila River as well as addressing the long- term health of this section of the river. The County is also working with state and federal agencies to obtain the proper permits and to minimize potential impacts to the area.

Grant County will be presenting the conceptual design for this project at a meeting and welcome public comments.
