Silver City hosted the 2nd Annual New Mexico Tamal Fiesta y Mas (formerly known as the New Mexico Tamale Festival) on Saturday, Dec. 8, in historic downtown Silver City. Dozens of vendors lined the streets of downtown with tamales, bizcochos, capirotada, Mexican hot chocolate, kettle corn and more. Fiesta activities included Mariachi bands, dancers and other live music.
