Retired Forest Service member Ron Henderson shared photos he recently took on a trip to the area burned by the Whitewater-Baldy Fire. The burn, which began as two lightning strikes, torched more than 297,000 acres in southwest New Mexico in May and June of 2012 to become the largest wildfire in state history.
