The Silver City/Southwest NM Branch of AAUW invites members and visitors to attend our meeting on Wednesday January 30 at 12:30 p.m. at the Girl Scout House at 302 W 11th St.
The program Entrepreneurship for High School Girls will be presented by Dr. Francisca Reyes, an Assistant Professor of Economics at WNMU. Come join us to learn how we can provide opportunities to young women in our area. Free!
In February we look forward to our 26th EYH (Expanding Your Horizons) conferences which encourage 5th – 8th grade girls in the Southwest of New Mexico to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers. EYH will be on the WNMU campus from 9:00 – 3:00 on February 23.
