WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman, chairman of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure, will hold a hearing on Wednesday to examine the role of tax incentives in promoting energy efficiency and how such incentives could be improved to achieve greater efficiency savings at a lower cost to the federal government.
Testifying before the subcommittee will be Dr. Dan Arvizu, Director, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden, CO; Mr. Steve Nadel, Executive Director, American Council for an Energy- Efficient Economy, Washington, DC; Mr. Mark F.
