Mimbres, NM, February 1, 2019— The Gila National Forest, Wilderness Ranger District is pleased to announced that wood chips are available again this year. The wood chips are a residue from the Gatton's Park Collaborative Forest Restoration Program.

The wood chips are free and you do not need a permit. We recommend loading during daylight hours. You must be able to load your own chips and please remember to cover the load. They are available at the Celebrations site. The chips are adjacent to FSR 4078U, off of west side of NM Hwy 35 (between mile post 17 and 18).
