The Silver City Fiber Arts Festival will be held November 11-12, 2011 at the Grant County Conference Center located at 3031 East Highway 180 East. This two day event celebrates all aspects of fiber art. There will be a vendor hall of fine fiber art and supplies, classes, demonstrations, and 19 special exhibits.
One of the special exhibits will be a Car Cozy covering a full size car! Festival attendees will be encouraged to stop by and add their crochet stitches to the Car Cozy. "This is such a fun exhibit and only one of the many activities that festival goers can participate in. It is really going to be an event for the entire family", states Festival Chair, Lynn Welsch.
