SANTA FE - Governor Susana Martinez and Public Education Secretary-designate Hanna Skandera will participate in Jumpstart's Read for the Record campaign tomorrow in Santa Fe and Pecos. Read for the Record brings together children and adults to read the same book on the same day, with more than two million students expected to participate across the country. Governor Martinez and Secretary Skandera will visit Cesar Chavez Elementary School and Turquoise Trail Elementary School in Santa Fe and Pecos Elementary School in Pecos tomorrow morning. Governor Martinez will be reading Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney to children at each school.
