The artists at the Mimbres Hot Springs Ranch welcome you to their community in the beautiful Mimbres Valley for the 32nd annual Studio Sale, Saturday and Sunday Dec 1 and 2 from 10am to 5pm.
Once a year, the Hot Springs community opens its doors to the public for this popular and festive event, which features a wide variety of finely crafted gifts, as well as door prizes, gourmet food and live music. The community's hacienda and courtyard will be the center of festivities. More than 30 new and returning artists and craftspeople will present their work to holiday shoppers, many of whom are long-time Studio Sale enthusiasts. Visitors enjoy the unique opportunity of meeting both Hot Spring artists and invited area artists in person as they showcase their high quality gift items for sale including jewelry, paintings, pottery, glass, clothing, instruments and accessories.
As well as a relaxed shopping experience, the Studio Sale offers live musical entertainment. On Saturday, this year's music will include jazz keyboard player Jesi Tallman at noon and fiddlers from the Irish Session Group playing at 2:30. Sunday noon brings back Jesi Tallman as well as a solo violin performance by Eileen Sullivan at 1:00. A gourmet lunch will be available both days. Fred Pineda will offer massages.
Refreshments, door prizes (you need not be present to win) and a kid's craft sale room are also long-standing features of this Mimbres Valley tradition. Guadelupe Montessori student art sales will benefit their school. You are asked to leave your pets at home.
