Zia: State Flag and Cookie Making Class: Make a tissue paper flag and decorate a sugar cookie with the zia symbol.

2:30 pm Special Presentation: "Looking at New Mexico's Struggle for Statehood through Political Cartoons," with Dr. Richard Melzer
$5 for the public, FREE to Museum Society members. The day's events will include a "Dr. Melzer Look-alike Contest," the winner of which will receive an autographed copy of one of Dr. Melzer's books. Copies of Dr. Melzer's books will be available for sale at the event, and he will sign copies after the presentation.
