Hobbs, NM (October 25, 2012) - U.S. Congressman Steve Pearce today announced that he will be conducting an extensive bus tour of New Mexico's Second Congressional District the week before the November 6 election. Starting Tuesday, October 30, Pearce will visit twenty cities across New Mexico in five days.
"I look forward to spending time with voters throughout New Mexico's Second Congressional District" said Pearce. "Under the Obama Administration, hardworking, honest New Mexicans have lost their jobs, their small businesses, and their freedoms. Republican candidates have the solutions New Mexico needs. I am proud to support Republicans running for office across New Mexico, and I'm excited to have so many strong candidates joining me on my bus tour."
Pearce will be joined on his bus tour by numerous office-holders and candidates as he travels over 1,300 miles throughout southern New Mexico. In his nearly twelve years of public service to New Mexico, Steve Pearce has fought for New Mexico's families by advocating against crushing taxes and job-killing overregulation. During the bus tour, he will campaign for his own re-election while supporting candidates for local office who have a similar plan for America's future.
The bus tour will begin in Hobbs on Tuesday, October 30, and will conclude in Portales on Saturday, November 3. Congressman Pearce encourages all New Mexicans to attend an event in their area.
