WILL Lunch & Learn - Noon
Western Institute for Lifelong Learning will host a FREE noon lecture by Bill Baldwin, "Historical Irony in Two Events from the Past," at the WNMU Global Resource Center, in Silver City. Bill will discuss the mysteries of historical irony by examining two apparently unrelated European events: the start of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830, and the premiere of Mahler's Eighth Symphony in 1910. He will draw connections using Peter Drucker's concept of modern information-based organizations and their resemblance to orchestras. [INFO: 575-538-6835 or www.will-learning.com or
