It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia Lea (Anderson) Dietschak, age 78, who died on June 20, 2025 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Born in St.Paul, Minnesota on October 29, 1946, Cindy was raised in Ontario, California and graduated from Chaffey High School.
After high school, Cindy attended Chaffey Community College and Hayward State University. Cindy had her two children with Robert Davis and went on to marry the love of her life, Franz Dietschak.
After owning her own book store and then clothing store in Los Osos, CA, Cindy became employed as a Correctional Officer at the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo, CA. Upon retiring from the prison, Cindy and Franz relocated to Pinos Altos, NM, where they opened a chiropractic office in Silver City. With their love of riding their Harley, Cindy and Franz enjoyed exploring the southwest, but were always happy to return home to their 3 beloved dogs - Red, Hot and Bradshaw. After losing Franz, Cindy spent her final years in Rio Rancho, NM.
Cindy is survived by her son, Scott Davis (Tara) of Chimayo NM and her daughter, Jennifer Wright (John) of Chester VT, her brother, Michael Anderson (Cristina) of Washington state and her granddaughters; Sara Davis, Rosalie Davis, Olivia Wright and Grace Wright.
Cindy was predeceased by her husband Franz Dietschak, her parents, Paul and Natalia Anderson and by her sister Paula.
