Patsy Lee Vendrely, 81, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her home in Silver City, NM. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Bright Funeral Home Chapel. On a later date her ashes will be scattered at her favorite place to enjoy the outdoors, Turkey Creek. She was surrounded by her children and their spouses at the time of her passing. Pat was known as "Teach" by many of her students and athletes as teacher and coach at Cliff schools for 21 years before retiring in 1992. She was instrumental in bringing girls organized sports to New Mexico High Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, her bird "Tweety," watching sports, and dancing with her many Silver Stars friends.
Pat was preceeded in passing by her parents Robbie Lee, and Grace Ola Arnspiger, and her brother Billy Mims Arnspiger. She is survived by her three children Rocky Vendrely and wife Reggie, Mike Vendrely and wife Kim and Vicki Decker and husband Matt, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of those who cared for their mother during her time of need.
