The Silver City community will gather to honor the lives and legacy of Kenneth Keppeler and Jeanie McLerie, beloved musicians, culture bearers, and the heart of the renowned band Bayou Seco. The event will celebrate their long time contributions to traditional New Mexican folk music and their decades of dedication to preserving and sharing this regional musical heritage.

The Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society is pleased to announce its winter film series, which will run every Thursday evening from January 8th through April 2nd .   The series is titled "Time to Laugh: Classic Hollywood Comedies 1959 to 1993", and will feature such iconic comedy performers  as Jack Lemmon, Peter Sellers, Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Steve Martin and the Monty Python group.

Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group at Cross Point Church on Thursday, October 23rd is changing to 6-7pm.

October meeting  Sophia, from Amber Care, will talk about Hospice services,  what is offered and what is not.

Also, a head's up about the meetings for November and December.  The 4th Thursday of both months fall on Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Those months we will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 6pm.  Questions?  Call Linda Brake at 575-590-1499.
