"Myself? Why should I pardon myself? No, I have no contemplation of pardoning myself. I didn't do anything wrong" — President Joe Biden, The Washington Examiner, Jan.10, 2025.
*****************************
Seems like I've heard that line somewhere. Oh, that's right, Joe repeated a near identical message numerous times before he pardoned his son, Hunter, for firearms and income tax crimes.

I knew it sounded familiar. According to Joe, Hunter must not have done anything wrong, either.

Which means, Joe may be getting ready to do the exact opposite of what he says he is not going to do — pardon himself.

Nothing new about this. Joe's entire career has been a series of false statements after another. To such an extent it's difficult to distinguish the difference between truth and fiction. It all blends together in a sort of Mulligan Stew concoction, with bits of authenticity and accuracy mixed with pieces of deceptions and prevarications.

No wonder the media has a hard time reporting what Joe's trying to say. Between his mumbling, rambling and baffling comments, it can be challenging to make sense of it. Particularly, when he meanders away from the podium in mid-sentence.

Nevertheless, President Joe remains confident he and Kamala could have defeated Trump in the November election, regardless of what the media, polls and vote tally indicated.

If I recall correctly, Trump did beat Kamala in November. Maybe Joe didn't get the memo. Or if he did, he's already forgotten.

Explaining his decision to withdraw from the election, Joe described his motive as "I didn't want to be one who caused a party that wasn't unified to lose an election. And that's why I stepped aside. But I was confident she could win," he told the Examiner.

Joe, you missed the point, again — you didn't step aside from the party, the party stepped aside from you.

As often the case, Joe was wrong about Kamala's voter appeal. She not only lost the Presidency, but the Senate, House and Electoral College as well. It was a clean sweep for Trump.

Which is a pretty good indication of how most folks felt about Joe, Kamala and the Democrats' governing policies. All three went down in defeat.

Adding a little more emphasis to the situation, Blue California's abysmal Democrat agendas have just about wrecked the entire state. Hell, these goofballs can't even put out a fire without first destroying billions of dollars in property.

I'm just guessing, but maybe Democrat Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass — in Africa at the time of the fires — was really on a fire fighter recruiting visit. Or why else was she there? Is there something in Africa residents of the L.A. area desperately needed as their communities burned to the ground?

Can't make this stuff up. It's pathetic.

Now, on Wednesday evening, Jan. 15, President Joe is going to bless us with his Farewell Address. Woo-Hoo, the b.s. will damn near be nauseating. Put on your boots, grab a few Midols and turn down the volume, 'cause it's gonna get deep and loud.

The theme, as always, will probably be "Democrats, good — Republicans, bad," linked with the usual serving of "It's Trump's Fault!"

By the time he finishes his sales pitch, you'll be wondering if Joe's talking about Paradise, or the United States with a debt load of $36 trillion, migrant-infested, overly regulated, excessively taxed, poorly managed and led by a single-term administration that will be noted as one of the worst in recorded world history.

Sadly, the puffed-up egos of the buffoons running the place can't even be embarrassed by their own incompetency and stupidity. It's utterly amazing the illusions of grandeur they have for themselves. Documented facts, videos and witness testimony to the contrary mean nothing to them.

Their narcissism is limitless as is the capacity to spin catastrophe into success. Their thinking is completely bass-ackwards from most people's.

Obviously.

I will agree, however, Joe and his team's noon departure on Jan. 20 will be a day of unbridled celebration. Unless, somehow, he manages to mess up that, too.

Which, I've learned, is entirely possible!
